Marbridge Foundation is seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional Shift Supervisor to help residents live empowered lives on our 200-acre campus. You will support daily routines, personal care, and life skills while promoting independence and community involvement.

The role emphasizes supervising shifts, overseeing transportation, documenting medications, and maintaining safety and quality of care for residents with intellectual disabilities.

Formación

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Texas Driver License with clean driving record.
• One year of experience in a residential setting with individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee staffing to ensure shifts are properly covered.
• Report emergencies and incidents promptly to leadership.
• Manage transportation operations for safe, timely routes.
• Prepare residents for off-campus activities and maintain clean living spaces.
• Monitor resident attendance at work, classes, appointments, and activities.
• Support staff in training and guiding residents and resolving conflicts.
• Make safety-focused transportation and weather-related decisions.
• Conduct cottage walkthroughs and ensure tasks/training are completed.
• Manage petty cash and shift funds accurately.
• Maintain resident medical records and log medications.
• Provide performance feedback and assist with staff evaluations.
• Complete incident and injury reports promptly.

• Must be at least 21 years old to be an approved driver

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional Shift Supervisor to help our residents live full, empowered lives. Our DSPs support residents with daily routines, personal care, and life skills training, while fostering independence and community engagement across our vibrant 200-acre campus.

Shift Available

• Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• 401k Retirement with employer matching

• Ensure shifts are properly staffed and communicate staffing needs to leadership.
• Report emergencies, concerns, and unusual incidents promptly.
• Oversee transportation operations to ensure safe, timely route completion.
• Verify residents are prepared for off-campus activities and maintain clean living spaces.
• Monitor resident attendance at work, classes, appointments, and activities.
• Support staff in effectively training and guiding residents.
• Promote positive communication and conflict resolution among residents.
• Make safety-focused decisions regarding transportation and weather conditions.
• Conduct regular cottage walkthroughs to ensure tasks and training are completed.
• Manage and document petty cash and shift funds accurately.
• Maintain accurate resident medical records and communicate updates as appropriate.
• Ensure medications received during the shift are properly logged.
• Provide performance feedback and assist with staff evaluations.
• Complete incident and injury reports promptly and notify leadership of occurrences.
