MGS Manufacturing in Richfield is seeking a Shift Supervisor Assistant to support shift leadership on a 12-hour day/night rotation. The role trains on an 8-hour day shift and then transitions to the 12-hour schedule.

You will supervise through strategic planning to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency on the assigned shift, with responsibilities including staffing, training, and process improvement while adhering to QMS requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; two-year tech college or four-year uni preferred.
• 1–3 years related experience or OJT; manufacturing experience a plus.
• Experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, IQMS.

Responsibilities

• Schedule Operators to jobs and pack out areas based on production schedule.
• Ensure operators begin on time and follow quality and safety standards.
• Mentor and develop direct labor; support onboarding and training.
• Monitor crew performance; address issues with Shift Supervisor and HR.
• Lead Pre-Shift Huddles and participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Assist with root cause investigations and corrective action plans.
