Base pay range

MUST HAVE MANAGERIAL EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLDING CARTON INDUSTRY TO BE CONSIDERED

LOCATION: On-site in Simpsonville KY

MISSION/SUMMARY:

Neff Packaging Solutions is currently seeking an off-shift Production Supervisor. The ideal candidate must have ‘change agent’ qualities to support rapid process changes, aiming for higher production efficiencies while prioritizing employee safety and product quality. Responsibilities include ensuring policy adherence, employee communication, performance management, and other initiatives.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Leading manufacturing improvement
• Ensuring raw materials, supplies, and parts are available to meet production demand
• Meeting KPIs for departments and implementing countermeasures when needed
• Training and leading employees in a participative, continuous improvement environment
• Managing shift production in a high-speed manufacturing facility
• Supporting scheduling and inventory directives
• Coordinating maintenance activities and schedules
• Maintaining product quality standards
• Managing safety processes
• Overseeing productivity and process improvements
• Providing supervisor training and leadership

EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE:

• 3-5 years management/technical experience with Folding Cartons (printing, cutting, gluing, etc.)
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business Management, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience
• 5-7 years supervisory/leadership experience
• Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing processes
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Basic Spanish knowledge is a plus

SCHEDULE DEMANDS:

• Night shift, including some weekends, with flexibility for other schedules
• Availability to respond to issues across all shifts to support supervisors

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Sitting, standing, or walking for extended periods (up to 12 hours)
• Reading electronic screens or devices
• Using various office and production tools

Ability to work around high-speed equipment and conveyor systems in a production environment.
