Job summary

Trulieve is seeking a dedicated Shift Supervisor in Rockville, MD to assist the General Manager and lead store personnel in daily operations. You will help drive customer satisfaction, uphold store standards, and ensure regulatory compliance during shifts.

The role requires prior retail and cash-handling experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in English with customers and team members. A flexible schedule is expected to include evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Prior management experience, preferably in retail and/or customer service.
• Must have prior cash handling experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism to communicate with all levels of management and staff; ability to uphold a strict level of confidentiality and discretion.
• Able to communicate in conversational English to work effectively with customers and team members, operate electronic equipment (computer, scanner, printer, etc.), comprehends safety procedures, and utilizes telecommunications devices.
• Ability to interact with customers and team members respectfully and politely.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager/Assistant General Manager in leadership and supervision of store personnel.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures and basic supervision of staff.
• Maintain brand standards in visual merchandising.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with state-specific regulations.
• Review and ensure compliance with SOPs and communicate changes to employees.
• Provide coaching and development to the team to meet service standards and objectives.
• Handle and resolve patient issues and escalations.
• Maintain professional relationships with business partners and ensure confidentiality.

ROLESUMMARY

TheShift Supervisor willbe responsible forassistingthe General Manager/Assistant General Managerinleadership andsupervision of store personnel, achieving key performancemetricsand ensuring the efficient dailyoperationof the store. This roleis responsible forensuring regulatory compliance while delivering exceptional customer experience.

KEYDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assume all duties of a key-holding supervisor related to opening and closing procedures and basic supervision of staff
• and retail processes
• Maintainbrand standards in visual merchandising
• Ensure consistent regulatory compliance with all state specific regulations
• Review, communicate and ensure compliance with all company SOPsand assure that any changes are communicated to employees
• Provide coaching, training, and development to the team that is focused on company service standards and accountability to meet specific objectives
• Responsible for handling and resolving patient issues and escalations
• Maintain professional working relationships with business partners
• Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance
• Perform other tasks that have been assigned by management

SKILLSANDQUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diplomarequired
• Priormanagementexperience,preferably inretailand/orcustomerserviceareais aplus
• Musthavepriorcashhandlingexperience
• Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism to communicate with all levels of management and staff; abilitytoupholda strictlevelof confidentialityand discretion

ADDITIONAL MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS

• Mustpossessa valid driver’s license and passaMVR background check (delivery locations only)
• Must be able to pass a level 1 and level 2 background check
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies
• Must be able to relate to and work with patrons of different ages, abilities, and patrons that at times are experiencing emotional distress, or displaying a hostile attitude

PHYSICALREQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is:

• Constantly required to move/traverse throughout entire facility, includingtightspaces
• Accurately communicate and exchange sensitive information and ideas with others, including members of the public;observe/inspect details at varying ranges;operatecomputing devices
• Frequently required to manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights (e.g., products, packaging, tools, office machinery): push/pull objects up to 50lbs; lift/carry/position objects up to 50 lbs.; ascend/descend stool/ladder/steps; positionself and/orobjects at floor level (e.g., crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl)
• Must have visual and auditory acuity with or without job aids to perform all functions of the position
• Occasionally required to remain in a seated position

WORKSCHEDULE

Up to40hoursweeklywithflexiblehoursdependingonstoreneeds.Mustbeavailabletoworkevenings,weekends,andholidays.
