Job summary

CAMS Bergen Generating Station in Ridgefield, NJ is seeking a skilled Plant Supervisor to lead start-up, shutdown, operation and maintenance with a focus on safety and reliability.

The role requires strong leadership, 8+ years in power generation, air-quality compliance, and the ability to manage rotating shifts. A NJ Blue Seal Boiler License is preferred. You will coordinate with ESOC and Trading, enforce procedures, and mentor teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 8 years operations experience in power generation facilities and/or similar industrial facilities and field.
• Computer literacy with good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Must possess and maintain a valid New Jersey driver’s license.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written and verbal.
• Understanding of federal, state, municipal and local permit limitations, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven leadership abilities.
• Ability to work rotating shifts with rotating days off.
• Able to foster an inclusive work environment and respect all aspects of diversity.
• Able to attain a NJ Blue Seal Boiler License.

Brief Description

This is a shift work position responsible for providing strong leadership and supervision in the start-up, shutdown, operation, and maintenance of power plant equipment. This position provides direction, technical expertise and supervision to station associates and support teams. Bergen Generating Station is a 1257 MW Dual Fuel Combined Cycle Plant located in Ridgefield, NJ.

Summary

Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record, as this position requires occasional travel for company business. Candidates should be comfortable operating a vehicle as part of their job responsibilities and must meet any applicable company and insurance requirements.
