Job summary

Better Buzz Coffee in Brandon, FL is hiring Shift Supervisors for our brand new Brandon location opening October 2026. The role involves delivering the Buzz experience with fast, friendly service and knowledge of our coffee, tea, food, and specialty drinks.

You will help run the shift, cross-train across café positions, manage breaks and schedules, and maintain store cleanliness and safety. The position offers base pay of $16.00 per hour plus tips, with opportunities for growth in a high-energy

Qualifications

• Must be able to work at least 28 hours per week, including weekends and holidays.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for great coffee.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Better Buzz experience with fast, friendly service.
• Be knowledgeable about our coffee, tea, food, and specialty drinks.
• Prepare and serve beverages and food per recipe standards.
• Cross-train across café roles, including kitchen tasks.
• Lead shift duties and manage breaks and schedules.
• Support setup, cleanup, stock, and special tasks.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety for guests and team.
• Communicate clearly with guests and teammates.
• Balance and manage deposits.
• Participate in inventory and waste management.
• Follow opening and closing duties checklists.

Compensation

Base pay is $16.00 per hour + tips as soon as the location is open to the public!

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Better Buzz experience through fast, friendly, and genuine service
• Be knowledgeable about our coffee, tea, food, and specialty drinks
• Prepare and serve beverages and food consistently following recipe standards
• Work all café positions — our baristas are cross-trained and adaptable – including working in our kitchens to make food to order
• Help run and administer a smooth schedule for breaks, meal period and shifts
• Assist with setup, cleanup, stock work, and special tasks
• Lead all shift duties as directed by the manager on duty
• Lead store cleanliness and safety – always ready for guests and teammates
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team
• Responsible for balancing and managing deposits
• Active in inventory and waste management
• Adhere to opening and closing duties checklist and procedures
