Job summary

Stellantis seeks an experienced Business Unit Leader to manage shift teams in a high-volume, unionized manufacturing environment. You will drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance while building capable teams and allocating manpower to meet targets.

You will lead cross-functional improvements, coach leaders, and ensure continuous improvement through Stellantis Industrial System (SIS) initiatives, audits, and maintenance planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years in operations management in a high-volume environment with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Ability to work any shift and overtime as required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interface with all levels of employees in the Plant.
  • Ability to coach / mentor / develop team members.
  • Experience in continuous improvement systems and lean manufacturing.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Manage work teams in a fast-paced, unionized plant to meet safety, quality, cost and delivery targets.
  • Build functional teams and allocate manpower to needs and targets.
  • Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, cost and morale.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in daily activities, problem solving and root-cause analysis.
  • Coordinate SIS programs and ensure processes and standards are implemented and maintained.
