Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Engineering or Operations Management.
• 3+ years of corrugator/converting supervisory experience in a packaging facility.
• Experience in Lean environment; Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• Strong operations, manufacturing or supply chain background.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coach and train employees and work across teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day shift operations with safety, quality, delivery and cost focus.
• Act as first point of contact for operators on issues; coordinate maintenance needs.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and enforce control procedures.
• Coordinate production with other departments to meet goals cost-effectively.
• Monitor production to eliminate waste; ensure schedule adherence.
• Input production data to measure KPIs on efficiencies and downtime.
• Provide safety, environmental and health recommendations for the facility.
• Produce daily shift production reports and reviews.
• Control load factors and workflow to maximize capacity and labor use.
• Manage and coach employees; conduct performance reviews and training.
• Direct maintenance to troubleshoot and perform preventative tasks.
• Enforce plant safety regulations and promote safety culture.
• Ensure staff follow company standards and customer commitments daily.
