Job summary

BD in Sumter, SC is seeking a full-time Manufacturing Team Leader to oversee daily production of components and finished products. You will motivate technical and hourly associates to meet quality, output, service, and cost targets while ensuring safe, efficient use of materials and equipment.

Reporting to the Departmental Lead Business Unit Leader, you will drive continuous improvement, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced medical technology environment at BD.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2-3 years manufacturing experience.
• 1-2 years as a people leader or team lead.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates the daily activities related to the manufacture of components and/or finished product in the department.
• Provides leadership and motivation to technical and hourly associates to achieve quality, quantity, service and cost standards through safe and proper utilization of materials and equipment.
