Job summary

DSV – Global transport and logistics in Summerville, USA, is seeking a Builds Supervisor A- Shift to oversee production associates responsible for loading/unloading freight and assembling server racks. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and accurate use of multiple systems, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:00am to 2:30pm.

The candidate will mentor subordinates, ensure adherence to procedures, maintain inventory accuracy, and support continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising production staff in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and QA procedures.
• Capability to use multiple internal systems and dashboards.
• Pass background checks and drug/alcohol tests.

Responsibilities

• Oversees, organizes, and coordinates cycle counts, inventory replenishments and material returns.
• Ensures adequate safety measures are followed to protect personnel and property.
• Advises subordinates with questions or problems in any aspect of work activities.
• Monitors work and examine production areas for accuracy, neatness and conformance to policies and procedures.
• Recommends and implements documented changes to procedures to improve efficiency, quality and safety.
• Performs or assists subordinates in performance of duties.
