Job summary

Nelson Global is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee a shift at our Oshkosh, WI facility, directing production personnel to meet deadlines and quality targets.

You will participate in hiring, discipline, safety adherence, plan communication, and employee development, while driving continuous improvement projects.

A Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 5 years in manufacturing with supervisory experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in technology, engineering, or related fields preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in a Manufacturing environment with at least 2 years of supervision.
• Relevant training in industrial production or related field.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the shift team to meet production deadlines.
• Communicate the daily Production plan to Team Leads and Associates.
• Meet with employees to discuss daily goals and department updates.
• Create training plans and assign roles for critical positions.
• Work with Safety to ensure PPE usage and guideline adherence.
• Drive continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
• Other tasks as required by the Plant Manager.
