Job summary

The Pictsweet Company is seeking a Production Supervisor for its Bridgeville, DE facility. You will oversee production employees on the shift, ensuring HACCP, SOP, and regulatory procedures are followed to produce safe, wholesome foods.

Responsibilities include managing lines, freezers, staffing, training, and records while maintaining safety and quality standards. Evening and weekend work may be required during peak processing season, with day shifts in the off-season.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift operations, including production lines, freezers, and yard activities.
• Delegate tasks, monitor performance, coach staff, and handle staffing decisions.
• Ensure equipment and work areas are safe and well maintained.
• Coordinate staffing with management to maintain coverage.
• Train, evaluate, and correct employee performance.
• Resolve problems and coordinate resources across teams.
• Monitor production performance and ensure quality standards.
• Maintain production records and time/attendance systems.
• Communicate with management and anticipate issues.
• Support emergency response and plant safety procedures.
