Job summary

The Marzetti Company is seeking a Production Lead to support safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing on the shift. You will coordinate line activities, verify quality documentation, and communicate with QA, sanitation, and supervisors to ensure materials, staffing, and changeovers are handled smoothly.

You will also enter consumptions into SAP, monitor GMP compliance, coach associates, and help move items from PSA locations to the floor while modeling positive engagement.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively with supervisors, QA, sanitation, utility, and associates.
• Must demonstrate strong product knowledge and follow the daily production schedule.
• Must complete and verify required production, quality, and equipment check documentation.
• Must understand or learn SAP consumption entry and material movement.
• Must demonstrate positive leadership and teamwork.
• Must show up on time and be available on weekends as scheduled.
• Must stand for an 8-hour shift with a 30-minute lunch break.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily line activities and ensure materials, equipment checks, staffing, and changeovers are handled effectively.
• Perform metal detector checks and verify documentation are completed accurately.
• Verify SAP entries for packaging materials, ingredients, and supplies.
• Communicate with shifts and supervisors about call-offs, vacations, and pass-down notes.
• Coach associates and model positive engagement on the line.
• Maintain GMP-compliant cleanliness and sanitation on the line.
• Ensure smooth shift transitions and prepare for the next shift.
• Track consumptions and movements from PSA locations to the production floor.
