Job summary

Marzetti Company is seeking a Production Lead to oversee daily line activities, verify quality and production records, and coordinate with QA, sanitation, and supervision. This role requires strong communication, hands-on coaching, and adherence to GMP standards.

You will enter consumptions in SAP, move materials from PSA to the production floor, monitor line coverage, and ensure a clean, organized, and safe workplace.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively with supervisors, QA, sanitation, utility, and associates.
• Must demonstrate strong product knowledge and the ability to follow the daily production schedule.
• Must be able to complete and verify required production, quality, and equipment check documentation.
• Must understand or be able to learn accurate SAP consumption entry and material movement from PSA locations to the production floor.
• Must demonstrate positive leadership, coaching ability, and strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Quality checks and documentation: complete metal detector checks and ensure correct sheets are used.
• Start-of-shift prep: gather required paperwork and coordinate with shifts and supervisors.
• Production coordination: track materials, enter SAP data, monitor line coverage and equipment settings.
• Associate engagement: communicate operations, model engagement, and coach associates.
• Sanitation and GMP: maintain cleanliness and ensure end-of-shift GMP compliance.
