Job summary

Plastipak Packaging, Inc. is hiring for a Packer to operate manufacturing equipment and pack finished plastic containers. You will inspect for defects, maintain equipment, and participate in broad on-the-job training while contributing to quality and efficiency.

We offer 8-hour shifts (Mon-Fri) with a base rate of $17.50/hour plus a $1.00/hour shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts, along with a comprehensive benefits package and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Ability to operate basic hand tools (wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers).
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodations.
• Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift with training on 1st shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment in finishing stages of production safely.
• Inspect products to ensure quality and remove defects.
• Pack products for distribution.
• Clean and maintain equipment for optimal performance.
• Participate in training and on-the-job development.
