Medication Aide Responsibilities include:

1. Setting up and administering resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards of medication administration. May supervise CNAs as directed.
2. Providing personal hygiene assistance such as giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, shaves, and assisting with travel to the bathroom, showers, and baths.
3. Supporting activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary, ambulating, turning, and positioning patients, and providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.
4. Maintaining patient stability by checking vital signs and weight, testing urine, and recording intake and output information.

Qualifications:

• Must be licensed in [STATE] as a [Medication Aide], with current and unencumbered licensure.
