Job summary

Ichor Systems, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor in Portland, Oregon to lead a shift of workers building subassemblies and units, review status, and coordinate priorities with planners and lead workers to ensure smooth transitions between shifts.

The role requires managing staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop staff, solve problems, and meet production objectives while upholding company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3-4+ years manufacturing or related work experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a shift of workers building subassemblies and units.
• Communicate with lead workers, planners and others to review job status and priorities.
• Facilitate smooth transition of work and products between shifts and among groups.
• Review prints, BOMs, and production methods to determine needs and requirements.
• Anticipate, follow up and resolve problems, shortages and equipment repairs.
• Estimate personnel needs and assign work to meet objectives.
• Manage staffing, training and performance evaluations to develop staff.
