The recent acquisition of Aspers Casino in Newcastle, UK, expands its international footprint and enhances its diverse entertainment offerings. It also owns Bally's Interactive International, Bally Bet, and Bally Casino.

With 10,600 employees, Bally's casino operations include approximately 15,300 slot machines, 580 table games, and 3,800 hotel rooms. Bally's has rights to developable land in Las Vegas post the closure of the Tropicana.

Upon completing the merger with The Queen Casino & Entertainment Inc., Bally's portfolio will include four additional casinos across three states, including Iowa, and over 900 new employees. The portfolio will also include approximately 2,400 slot machines, 50 table games, and 150 hotel rooms. Bally's will also succeed Queen's significant stake in Intralot S.A., a global lottery management business.

The Role:

The primary responsibility of this position is to function as a Shift Manager Slot Services and serve as the key licensed Slot Shift Manager.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain rapport with slot players and handle escalated customer concerns when functioning as a supervisor.
  2. Observe, supervise, and countersign hand-paid jackpots as required.
  3. Access NJ Family Services Taxpayer database to scan for delinquent JP winners.
  4. Coordinate with Security and other departments to ensure guest service; assist in training programs.
  5. Train new employees, retrain existing staff, and evaluate training effectiveness.
  6. Ensure compliance with state regulations and internal controls related to slot operations.
  7. Assist in hiring, scheduling, performance evaluations, and employee support functions. Must lift objects up to 40 lbs.
  8. Support staffing and scheduling decisions when not acting as supervisor.
  9. Monitor activities affecting department efficiency, including internal controls.
  10. Ensure maximum productivity and smooth operation.
  11. Maintain facilities and equipment functionality.
  12. Demonstrate leadership with energy and commitment.
  13. Provide superior customer service and act as a positive role model.
  14. Evaluate service quality and implement improvements based on feedback.
  15. Communicate promotions and events to the team.
  16. Develop employees, set standards, and hold staff accountable.
  17. Enforce company policies, procedures, and regulations; maintain employee records; conduct performance reviews.
  18. Create a positive work environment, recognizing and rewarding performance.
  19. Follow company policies and industry regulations diligently.
  20. Other duties as assigned.
