Role Description

As a Shift Manager in Training, you will:

• Learn and develop proficiency in all aspects of Chick-fil-A restaurant operations.

• Lead shifts while creating a positive, productive, and encouraging work environment.

• Coach, train, and develop team members to perform at a high level.

• Help ensure our restaurant consistently delivers Great Food, Fast & Accurate Service, and Genuine Hospitality.

• Maintain and promote the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and restaurant safety.

• Work alongside Shift Leaders, Managers, Directors, and the Owner/Operator to ensure effective communication and execution.

• Provide team members with clear direction, coaching, encouragement, and feedback.

• Help achieve and exceed restaurant goals, standards, and expectations.

• Learn how to effectively manage restaurant systems, procedures, and daily operations.

• Assist with opening and closing the restaurant.

• Help monitor and maintain food quality, service standards, cleanliness, and operational excellence.

• Respond to guest needs and help create a remarkable guest experience.

• Support the restaurant's operational and financial goals.

• Identify opportunities for improvement and help implement solutions.

• Develop leadership skills through hands-on experience, coaching, and ongoing training.

• Maintain positive working relationships with team members and leaders while treating everyone with dignity and respect.

• Work flexible schedules based on restaurant operations, guest demand, and staffing needs.

• Strictly adhere to all Chick-fil-A policies, procedures, and operational standards.
