Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes in Town of Hempstead is seeking a Shift Manager to lead bakery operations during assigned shifts, support team members, and ensure outstanding guest service while upholding our quality and cleanliness standards.

You will coach staff, handle opening and closing tasks, cash handling, and daily reporting, and collaborate with management to maintain inventory and a positive, team-oriented culture.

As a Shift Manager, you will lead bakery operations during assigned shifts, support team members across all areas of the bakery, and help ensure every guest receives outstanding service while maintaining our high standards for quality, cleanliness, and teamwork.

What You'll Do

• Lead and motivate team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences
• Oversee daily bakery operations and ensure smooth shift execution
• Provide coaching, training, and support to team members
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reporting
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company standards
• Support guest service, cake decoration, frosting, and production activities as needed
• Address guest concerns professionally and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate operational needs to management

What We're Looking For

• Previous leadership, supervisory, retail, restaurant, or food service experience preferred
