Job summary

Super Star Car Wash is seeking a Shift Manager (Manager-on-Duty) to lead daily operations, drive guest satisfaction, manage staffing, safety, and service standards across our California locations. This role suits leaders who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy developing people.

You will rotate through areas of responsibility to build leadership, business, and operational skills, coach teams, and uphold brand standards.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience
• Retail, hospitality, or car wash experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, make decisions, and drive results
• High integrity and professionalism
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to motivate, coach, and hold others accountable
• Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Energy, adaptability, and a hands-on leadership style

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift execution, including staffing, business flow, safety, and service standards
• Serve as Manager-on-Duty, resolving guest and team issues with confidence and discretion
• Ensure smooth shift transitions through clear communication and follow-through
• Execute opening and closing procedures and maintain operational readiness
• Lead, coach, and hold team members accountable to operational standards
• Provide shoulder to shoulder coaching and celebrate and recognize team members
• Support training completion and promote a culture of engagement and accountability
• Model company values and enforce policies and procedures
• Proactively identify safety risks and address issues immediately
• Ensure consistent execution of brand and cleanliness standards
• Scheduling, onboarding support, attendance tracking, performance documentation, and training compliance
• Team training, coaching sales behaviors, certification support, and identifying development gaps
• Site cleanliness, equipment readiness, preventive maintenance coordination, and lot organization

The Opportunity

Shift Managers are the operational leaders who drive our business daily. As Manager-on-Duty, you are accountable for driving onsite culture, team performance, safety, service execution, and the overall guest experience. Shift Managers rotate through defined areas of responsibility to build well rounded leadership, business, and operational skills.

What You'll Do

Lead Operations

• Own daily shift execution, including staffing, business flow, safety, and service standards

What We're Looking For

Pay Range - The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on relevant experience and geographic location.
