Traditions Hospitality Group is seeking a Shift Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional service for guests and team members at our Kingston location.

You will supervise front-of-house and back-of-house staff, train teammates, and manage inventory while upholding safety and standards in a fast-paced environment. This role emphasizes leadership, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Able to obtain Gaming and ABLE licenses.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in hospitality or food service.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Maintain a polished professional appearance per dress code.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate staff during shifts across front-of-house and back-of-house.

SHIFT MANAGER

As a Shift Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring exceptional service and a positive experience for our guests and team members.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff during assigned shifts, including front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.

• Must be able to obtain an ABLE license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality, beverage, or food service industry.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times by adhering to the establishment's dress code standards, ensuring a polished and professional image is presented to guests.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

• Stand, walk, and work in a high-volume environment for extended periods.
• Lift and carry moderate to heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
• Moderate to high noise levels.
• Exposure to a smoky environment.
