Job summary

Wingstop Restaurants in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Full Time Shift Leader to direct daily operations in the GM's absence. You will ensure guest satisfaction, manage inventory, and uphold company standards.

Responsibilities include opening/closing the restaurant, supervising staff, reviewing trends, placing orders, and maintaining safety and sanitation. Candidates should have at least 2 years in food service supervisory roles and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding Guest Service by greeting and acknowledging every Guest and maintaining high standards
• Control shrinkage, waste, expenses, and payroll
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, safety and staffing standards are maintained
• Review restaurant trends and initiate changes to maximize goals and objectives
• Ensure compliance with company policies through meetings and audits
• Open and/or close the Restaurant
• Assemble and package orders according to Wingstop standards
• Assist all other positions when necessary
• Receive, inspect, and sign/pay for deliveries in the GM's absence
• Place orders with vendors when necessary
• Maintain a current Operations Manual and follow procedures
• Conduct daily walk through and taste test of products at opening
• Time and temps checked every two hours
• Ensure products are fresh and prepared correctly
• Keep flow of orders moving on time
• Keep restaurant safe and clean for staff and guests
• Handle guest issues in GM's absence
• Assist in keeping kitchen clean throughout shift
• Ensure health safety consciousness at all times
• Promote Wingstop Brand and operating requirements
• Understand and follow instructions for chemical cleaning products
• Any other responsibilities as assigned by General Manager

Salary Range: $14.00 To $19.00 Hourly

A Shift Leader has the overall responsibility for directing the daily operations of a restaurant in the General Manager's absence. This position is critical to Wingstop Restaurants; ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operation, including product preparation, customer relations, inventory management, financial accountability, also ensures that the highest quality products and services are delivered to each customer and other duties as required or assigned by the General Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure that each Guest receives outstanding Guest Service by providing a Guest friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every Guest, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of Guest Service.
