Job summary

McDonalds in Ohio seeks a Shift Manager to lead weekly shifts, guiding crews and other managers to deliver fast, accurate and friendly service. You’ll plan shifts, monitor performance, and ensure safety, cleanliness and profitability while meeting targets and collaborating with department teams.

Ideal candidates have prior leadership in food service or retail, are team players, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and meet the age requirement of 18+.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment.
• We're looking for positive team players with a flexible schedule who like to have fun.
• You must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our restaurants.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts every week, ensuring a fast, accurate and friendly experience for customers.
• Provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to ensure great Quality, Service and Cleanliness.
• Plan for each shift and monitor performance during the shift.
• Help ensure the team meets McDonalds standards and monitor safety, security, and profitability.
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to hand off responsibilities and prepare them to run the shift.
• May be responsible for meeting targets during shifts and helping Departments meet their goals.
