Slim Chickens is seeking a Shift Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure each shift runs smoothly, efficiently, and in line with the brand's standards of quality and hospitality.

The role leads by example, motivates team members, delivers outstanding guest service, and maintains a clean, safe work environment while acting as the bridge between hourly staff and upper management.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Strong communication, tact and guest service mindset.
• Team leadership and collaboration across shifts.
• Physical ability to lift at least 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise team members during assigned shifts to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, service and cleanliness.
• Coach, train and motivate staff with clear direction and feedback.
• Manage cash handling and register reconciliation.
• Monitor food safety, sanitation and health standards.
• Assist with scheduling, inventory and shift planning.
• Provide exceptional guest service and resolve issues promptly.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
• Step into cook, cashier, or drive-thru roles as needed to maintain flow.
• Communicate with upper management regarding performance and challenges.
