Our Shift Managers play a vital role in the daily and overall success of our restaurants. They lead our Crew Members on the front lines of our operations, uphold our standards, and ensure that our guests leave feeling great about their experience.

Wages: $15.50 per hour

What We Expect From Shift Managers

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent menu and product knowledge
  • Ensure the restaurant is in full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health regulations, hour and wage regulations, age restrictions, fair employment practices, ADA, and other applicable laws.
  • Ensure knowledge, adherence, and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures.
  • Ensure the profitability of the business by operating shifts within established guidelines for food cost, labor, controllables, utilities, and sales growth.
  • Provide leadership to the restaurant team to meet standards of guest service, quality, and cleanliness, embracing the Firehouse Subs culture, mission, and vision.
  • Assist the GM in implementing current operations and company initiatives profitably and timely.
  • Participate in interviewing, hiring, training, and coaching employees under the guidance of the GM.
  • Ensure all required programs, reports, and legal documents are accurate, complete, and on schedule.
  • Actively participate in all Public Safety Foundation initiatives.
  • Represent Firehouse Subs professionally and positively at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with the GM and HQ about issues impacting the business.
  • Able to stand for up to 13 hours at a time.
  • Willing to accept and complete other duties assigned by GM.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
