Job summary

Super Star Car Wash is seeking a Shift Manager (Manager-on-Duty) to lead daily operations, oversee staffing, safety, and service standards, and protect the guest experience. You will rotate through People, Sales, and Operations leadership focus areas to build well-rounded leadership and drive performance.

As a leader, you will coach teams, ensure policy adherence, and maintain brand and cleanliness standards while working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or customer-service experience
• Retail, hospitality, or car wash experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive results

The Opportunity

Shift Managers are the operational leaders who drive our business daily. As Manager-on-Duty, you are accountable for driving onsite culture, team performance, safety, service execution, and the overall guest experience. This role is ideal for leaders who thrive in fast‑paced environments, enjoy developing people, and are looking for a clear pathway into higher‑level operational leadership. Shift Managers rotate through defined areas of responsibility to build well‑rounded leadership, business, and operational skills.

Lead Operations

• Own daily shift execution, including staffing, business flow, safety, and service standards
• Serve as Manager-on-Duty, resolving guest and team issues with confidence and discretion
• Ensure smooth shift transitions through clear communication and follow-through
• Execute opening and closing procedures and maintain operational readiness

Coach and Develop Teams

• Lead, coach, and hold team members accountable to operational standards
• Provide shoulder to shoulder coaching and celebrate and recognize team members
• Support training completion and promote a culture of engagement and accountability

Uphold Safety & Brand Standards

• Model company values and enforce policies and procedures
• Proactively identify safety risks and address issues immediately
• Ensure consistent execution of brand and cleanliness standards

Rotational Leadership Focus Areas

To support leadership development, Shift Managers rotate through the following focus areas:

People & Staffing Leadership

Scheduling, onboarding support, attendance tracking, performance documentation, and training compliance

Sales & Training Leadership

Team training, coaching sales behaviors, certification support, and identifying development gaps

Operations & Tunnel Leadership

Site cleanliness, equipment readiness, preventive maintenance coordination, and lot organization

What We're Looking For

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or customer-service experience
• Retail, hospitality, or car wash experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, make decisions, and drive results
• High integrity and professionalism
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to motivate, coach, and hold others accountable
• Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Energy, adaptability, and a hands‑on leadership style
