Schulte Hospitality Group seeks a dynamic Front of House Manager for Doc Crows. Lead a service-focused team, uphold brand standards, and ensure guest satisfaction in a fast-paced restaurant.

As a hands-on leader, oversee daily operations, staffing and training, monitor sanitation, and drive guest experiences while balancing costs and quality across dining room and bar sections.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage budgets and drive cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations and decision-making.
• Assist GM with hiring, training, coaching, recruiting, discipline and reviews.
• Maintain sanitation, cleanliness, and safety standards across all areas.
• Control staff labor and scheduling; ensure punctuality and policy adherence.
• Develop standards to increase sales and reduce costs for beverage, supplies and labor.
• Maintain inventory and coordinate ordering with GM.
• Collaborate on marketing, advertising and special events.
• Oversee dining room and bar service; manage front-of-house supplies.
• Ensure consistent quality and presentation of food and service.
• Control ambiance: lighting, music, linens, glassware and dinnerware.
• Inspect service stations for quality and safety.
• Ensure positive guest experiences and document incidents for training.
• Investigate and resolve complaints about food quality or service.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and be able to make proper decisions on matters of importance.
• Assist the General Manager with hiring, training, coaching, recruiting, discipline, and performance reviews. Must communicate requested pay increases, vacation time for personnel for approval.
• Ensure that high standards of sanitation, cleanliness, and safety are always maintained throughout all areas.
• Responsible for ensuring that staff financials and personnel labor is controlled based on scheduling and business levels. Enforcement of staff being on time, and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Enforce and/or develop standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including beverage, supply, utility, and labor costs.
• Responsible for maintaining the inventory of plate ware, glassware, and small wares, and communicating ordering necessities to the General Manager.
• Collaborate with other management personnel to plan marketing, advertising and special restaurant functions.
• Oversee all dining room operations, including scheduling and managing staff, ordering front-of-house supplies, and supervising dining room and bar service.
• Ensures uniform quality and presentation of the restaurant.
• Maintains ambiance by controlling lighting, background music, linen service, glassware, dinnerware, and utensil quality and placement; monitoring food presentation and service.
• Make regular inspections of all service-related stations to ensure proper quality and safety.
• Maintain a positive guest experience and communicate guest recovery actions to General Manager, documenting incidents in the nightly log, and using them to improve training procedures.
• Investigate and resolve complaints concerning food quality and/or service.
