Job summary

Linders' Family McDonalds is hiring a Shift Manager to lead weekly shifts and ensure fast, accurate, friendly service for every visit.

As a shift leader, you will guide crew and fellow managers, monitor performance, and uphold food safety, cleanliness, and profitability while meeting targets during shifts. Prior leadership is preferred within hospitality or retail environments.

Qualifications

• Prior leadership experience is preferred and a background in retail, restaurant, or hospitality helps.
• Commitment to McDonald’s standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Ability to lead a team, plan shifts, and monitor performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift operations to ensure fast, accurate, friendly service.
• Lead crew and other managers during a shift to meet standards.
• Maintain food safety, safety, and security across the shift.
• Manage inventory, daily upkeep, and scheduling.
• Train team members and communicate with the next shift manager.

Requirements:

Managers lead weekly shifts, ensuring customers get a fast, accurate, friendly experience every visit. A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to ensure great Quality, Service and Cleanliness to customers.

Shift Managers perform a variety of tasks, which may include planning for each shift, monitoring performance during the shift, taking action to ensure the team is meeting McDonald’s standards, monitoring safety, security, and profitability, and communicating with the next Shift Manager to help prepare him/her to run a great shift, too. Shift Managers may also be responsible for meeting targets during their shifts and for helping their assigned Departments meet their goals.
