Requirements: Ideal candidates

  • MUST HAVE 2+ years of fast-food experience and management or trainer experience.
  • You must be 18+ years or older.

Managers lead daily shifts, ensuring customers get a fast, accurate, and friendly experience every visit.

Shift Managers lead the crew and other managers during a shift to ensure excellent Quality, Service, and Cleanliness for our customers.

Shift Managers perform a variety of tasks, which include planning for each shift, food safety, monitoring performance during the shift, taking action to ensure the team is meeting McDonald's standards, monitoring safety, security, and profitability, and communicating with the next Shift Manager to help prepare him/her to run a great shift.

Shift Managers may also be responsible for meeting targets during their shifts and helping their assigned Departments meet their goals. We want our manager to take initiative and LEAD BY EXAMPLE.

As a Shift Manager, You May Be Responsible For

  • Coordinate all cash handling policies and procedures
  • Respond quickly and effectively to all emergencies
  • Encourage your team, coach when standards are not being met, help where you are most needed, and celebrate successes!
  • Keeping bathrooms, kitchen line, floors, lobby, and drink station clean and organized
  • Clean and maintain all fixtures, windows, tables, and chairs
  • Ensure the hospitality crew is always assigned to the lobby during the peak periods
