Job summary

Arby’s is seeking a Shift Manager to lead daily restaurant operations and support the General Manager and Assistant Managers in delivering an exceptional guest experience.

You will guide team members, uphold standards, and train staff across all roles while ensuring cash reconciliation and accurate documentation. The role requires stamina for long shifts and physical tasks, and a commitment to safety, cleanliness, and service quality.

Responsibilities

• A Shift Manager runs excellent shifts and assists the General Manager and Assistant Managers in operating the Arby’s restaurant to deliver an outstanding dining experience.
• Guides Team Members, ensures operating standards, and trains/assists on all positions and tasks in the restaurant.
• Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours and lift 25–40 pounds.
• Requires pushing, pulling, stretching, reaching, bending, and bilateral use of fingers and wrists.
• Communicates effectively with employees, supervisors, guests, and vendors; reconciles cash and completes paperwork.
• Monitors and maintains quality, service, cleanliness, and safety standards.

A Shift Manager is responsible for running excellent shifts and assisting the General Manager and Assistant Manager(s) in running an Arby's® restaurant. In order to insure that guests receive an outstanding dining experience. The Shift Manager must be able to guide Team Members, insure operating standards, and train and assist Team Members on all positions and tasks in the restaurant. A Shift Manager must be able to stand for up to 8 hours and lift 25 to 40 pounds. The position requires pushing, pulling, stretching, reaching, bending, and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists. A Shift Manager must be able to communicate through verbal and written means with employees, supervisors, guests, and vendors. The Shift Manager must also be able to reconcile cash, complete manual and computer-based paperwork and forms, and monitor and maintain quality, service, cleanliness, and safety standards.
