Job summary

Taco Bell is seeking a Shift Lead to drive the team, lead shifts with energy, resolve customer concerns, and ensure every guest leaves satisfied. You will coach and guide teammates, partnering with management to shape restaurant initiatives and meet high standards.

In this fast-paced role you will ensure food safety, quality, and order accuracy, oversee training, handle conflicts with the GM, and assist with hiring and labor management.

Qualifications

• 1 year of restaurant/retail experience, with 3 months shift lead experience preferred.
• Must adhere to cash, security, inventory, and labor policies.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Accessibility to dependable transportation.
• Excellent communication skills, management/leadership and organizational skills.
• Physical dexterity to move up to 45 lbs.
• Attendance and punctuality required.
• Basic Math skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute the MIC (Manager in Charge) Success Routine and prioritize customer needs.
• Oversee Team Members' Shift Excellence tasks and maintain clean appearances.
• Ensure food safety, quality, and order accuracy.
• Resolve customer complaints quickly and maintain positive relations.
• Provide regular feedback to the GM on Team Member performance.
• Offer ongoing constructive and positive feedback to Team Members.
• Actively participate in training Team Members.
• Handle conflicts constructively and work with the GM to resolve.
• Assist the GM in screening Team Member candidates.
• Assist with Profit & Loss management by following cash control and security procedures, maintaining inventory, and managing labor.
• Oversee proper product preparation, rotation, portioning, cooking, and holding times.
• Assist the GM with facility maintenance and ensuring health and safety standards.

The Day-to-Day:

• Ensure consistent customer satisfaction by executing the MIC (Manager in Charge) Success Routine and prioritizing customer needs.
• Oversee Team Members' completion of Shift Excellence tasks and maintain clean, neat appearances.
• Ensure food safety, quality, and accuracy of orders.
• Resolve customer complaints quickly, maintaining positive customer relations.
• Provide regular feedback to the GM on Team Member performance.
• Offer ongoing constructive and positive feedback to Team Members.

The range for this role is $14-$22/hour. This is a nationwide range and is solely dependent on the geographical location where the restaurant is located.
