Wegmans Food Markets in the Sub Shop is seeking a Food Service Shift Leader to guide a fast-paced team, ensure top-quality display and freshness, and educate customers on menu items. You will mentor staff, reinforce Wegmans’ standards, and contribute to a high-energy, service-driven environment.

The role emphasizes customer engagement, product knowledge, and seamless operations during busy periods, with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits offered by Wegmans.

What will I do?

• Focus on company standards regarding merchandising, highlighting quality, freshness and uniqueness of products
• Use passion and knowledge to educate team members and customers on product offerings
• Proactively approach customers, answer questions, help locate items and offer suggestions to complete their meals

Required Qualifications

• 1 or more years of work experience or a college degree
• Computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading a team
• Enthusiasm for and knowledge of relevant products
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new situations and subject matters
