Job summary

AES Restaurants is seeking a Shift Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations and direct the team during shifts, ensuring outstanding service and guest satisfaction. You will be responsible for maintaining controls, coaching staff, and achieving daily goals while upholding safety and policies.

Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain). This full-time role is based at AES locations, with opportunities across 344 units.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
• ServSafe certification or able to obtain certification.
• Able to work in warm and cold temperatures.
• Stand for 8–10 hours.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to climb ladders for maintenance and perform related motions (bending, squatting, twisting).

Responsibilities

• Ensure team provides outstanding service to satisfy guests.
• Oversee restaurant operations and direct team members during shifts.
• Manage cash controls and inventory as part of shift responsibilities.
• Set and meet restaurant goals for service, operations and financial results.
• Coach and train team members; utilize AES systems to run the restaurant smoothly.

What will you do?

As a Shift Manager you will ensure outstanding service and guest satisfaction by overseeing restaurant operations and direction of team members during assigned shifts. As a Shift Manager you will have full accountability for restaurant operations during shifts when management is not present.
