Job summary

McDonald’s is seeking a dedicated Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced restaurant team, ensuring quality, service and cleanliness for every guest. You’ll oversee daily operations, plan shifts, monitor performance, and coach crew and other managers to meet McDonald’s standards.

You will be responsible for food safety, inventory, scheduling, training, and communicating with the next shift manager to keep the restaurant running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Shift Manager leads shifts every week to ensure fast, accurate, friendly experience.
• Ability to lead crew and other managers, maintaining standards of quality, service and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Food Safety: maintain safe food handling and storage.
• Internal Communication: coordinate with team and next shift manager.
• Inventory Management: track supplies and orders.
• Daily Maintenance and Cleanliness: oversee restaurant cleanliness and upkeep.
• Managing Crew: supervise and develop team members.
• Quality Food Production: ensure consistent product quality.
• Exceptional Customer Service: deliver great guest experience.
• Safety and Security: uphold safety protocols and store security.
• Scheduling: plan and adjust staff schedules.
• Training: coach and onboard staff.

Requirements:

Managers lead shifts every week, making sure customers get a fast, accurate, friendly experience every visit. A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to ensure great Quality, Service and Cleanliness to customers.

Shift Managers perform a variety of tasks, which may include planning for each shift, monitoring performance during the shift, taking action to ensure the team is meeting McDonald’s standards, monitoring safety, security, and profitability, and communicating with the next Shift Manager to help prepare him/her to run a great shift, too. Shift Managers may also be responsible for meeting targets during their shifts and for helping their assigned Departments meet their goals.
