Job summary

McAlister’s Deli is seeking a Shift Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, supervise front-of-house and back-of-house teams, and ensure guests receive an exceptional dining experience. This role focuses on hospitality, teamwork, and operational excellence to maintain high service standards.

You will manage labor and inventory, support store goals, and collaborate with management to drive growth. Prior hospitality leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in shift management or hourly leadership roles preferred.
• Strong customer service and guest-relations focus.
• Ability to lead a team and guide operations during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Run front-of-house dining and back-of-house kitchen shifts.
• Build guest experience through genuine hospitality.
• Monitor labor, food, and product orders for cost control.
• Engage with guests to ensure a standout dining experience.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.

Hourly Pay Rate:

$13.00 - $18.00 / per hour

Requirements

• One year of Key employee, Shift Supervisor or Hourly management related experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Running successful shifts in the front of house dining and back of house kitchen
• Building our business through our core value of genuine hospitality
• Expense supervision when it comes to labor, food and product orders
• Interact with guests and ensure their experience in our restaurant is one-of-a-kind
• Must be able to complete all other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by Assistant Managers or the General Manager

• We’re a no grease zone! You won’t go home smelling like an old French fry. Our work environment is clean and safe. No char broilers, fryers, or flattop grills
