Wendy's of Western Virginia in Roanoke and Lynchburg is seeking energetic Managers to oversee staff and operations at one of our locations.

As a Store/Shift Manager you will lead a fast‑paced team, uphold quality and service standards, and drive profitability while providing excellent guest experience.

Qualifications

• Restaurant/Retail experience required.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including late nights and breakfast.
• Strong customer service, communication, and leadership skills.
• Shift Managers must be able to stand for long periods and travel to the bank, other locations, Area Office.
• Reliability is a MUST.

Responsibilities

In 1975 Wendy's of Western VA, Inc. opened its first restaurant on Electric Road across from Tanglewood Mall. We have steadily grown throughout the western portion of Virginia, and today we have 13 restaurants that are striving to deliver the highest standards in quality, service, and cleanliness. Our plans include continuing our steady growth for many years to come.

Wendy’s of Western Virginia, a locally owned franchise, with 13 restaurants is looking for energetic Managers! At your Wendy’s, you will assist your team by managing both the staff and operations at one of our many locations across Roanoke and Lynchburg.

Responsibilities:

• Work with your team to create a restaurant of choice by providing the best food in a friendly and fast paced environment.
• Properly managing your shift by using Wendy’s Systems.
• Manage, empower, and assist your team in achieving organizational goals that support our collective goal of "Service Excellence” for every customer that we serve.
• The ability to perform HR duties for your employees in a way that maximizes employee engagement and retention.
• The opportunity to interview and recommend candidates for selection in order to achieve proper staffing levels.
• Provide A+ training for every employee through our established systems.
• Assist with administrative tasks.
• Ensure all food safety procedures are executed at a high level, in accordance with both Company and Health Department standards.

Requirements

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

• Restaurant/Retail experience (Experienced in serving customers)
• Ability to work flexible schedules that may include late nights and Breakfast (Most Drive-Thru’s open till Midnight)
• Customer Service Skills, Effective Communication, Leadership/Organizational Skills.
• The Shift Managers must be able to stand for long periods without a break, and be able to travel to the bank, other restaurants, Area Office, etc.
• Reliability is a MUST.
