Job Description:
Responsible for supporting the General Manager and Co-Manager in overseeing the profitability of one RaceTrac store during designated shifts. While leading the shift, you will continually deliver on RaceTrac’s mission of making lives simpler and more enjoyable through friendly service, food execution, cleanliness, talent leadership, and driving success.
Responsibilities:
Customer Service
- Provide courteous, frictionless, and elevated experience for guests
- Foster positive and professional relationships with co-workers and guests
- Communicate respectfully and maintain a team-oriented attitude
- Complete guest transactions efficiently at the cash register or self-checkout stations and suggest complementary products
- Address and resolve guest concerns promptly, involving regional team members as needed
Food Safety
- Monitor and adhere to all RaceTrac, federal, state, and local safety and food safety regulations
- Ensure all food offers are available and properly stocked
Cleanliness and Store Standards
- Maintain store cleanliness and stock levels to provide an elevated guest experience
- Execute shift duties while maintaining presentation standards and representing the RaceTrac brand
- Clean food preparation areas and equipment to RaceTrac standards
Talent Leadership

- Lead with a servant-leader mentality, prioritize tasks, go the extra mile for guests and team, listen, communicate respectfully, and solve problems proactively
- Coach, train, and assess direct reports, adhering to operational standards
- Provide feedback and recommendations on employee performance and development to the General Manager
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED in progress or completed
- 2-3 years of work experience preferred
- 1+ years of management experience preferred
- Experience in high-volume, guest-focused, transactional environments preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Initiative taker
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, and reach repeatedly with minimal breaks
- May require obtaining and maintaining food handler and alcohol server permits, depending on local/state laws
