About This Role

Shift Manager in a McDonald’s franchise operated by an independent franchisee (not McDonald’s USA). The franchisee is the sole employer, responsible for all employment matters.

Description

Managers lead shifts every week to ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. The Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and other managers to guarantee high Quality, Service, and Cleanliness for customers.

Shift Managers perform a variety of tasks, including planning each shift, monitoring performance during the shift, taking action to achieve the team’s goals, monitoring safety, security, and profitability, and communicating with the next Shift Manager to facilitate smooth handover. They may also be responsible for meeting targets during their shifts and helping their assigned Departments meet their objectives.
