Job Description

Responsible for supporting the General Manager and Co-Manager in overseeing the profitability of one RaceTrac store during designated shifts. While leading the shift, you will deliver RaceTrac’s mission of making lives simpler and more enjoyable through friendly service, food execution, cleanliness, talent development, and driving success.

Responsibilities

• Friendly: Provide courteous, frictionless, and elevated experiences for guests; foster positive relationships with co-workers and guests; communicate respectfully; efficiently complete transactions; address guest concerns promptly.
• Food: Ensure compliance with safety regulations; maintain food availability.
• Clean: Keep the store clean and stocked; execute shift duties; maintain presentation standards; ensure food prep areas and equipment are clean.
• Leading Talent: Demonstrate RaceTrac's Core Values; act with a servant-leader mentality; lead coaching, training, and assessment of staff; provide feedback to the General Manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (in progress or completed)
• 2-3 years’ work experience (preferred)
• 1+ years management experience (preferred)
• Experience in high-volume, guest-focused environments (preferred)
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• May require food handler and alcohol server permits, depending on local regulations
