Job summary

Steak ’n Shake is seeking a Shift Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, drive top-of-market service, and maintain brand standards in a fast-paced setting. The role emphasizes team development, schedule adherence, and guest satisfaction.

You will supervise opening/closing activities, coach staff, manage deposits, and ensure safety and quality, while participating in ongoing training and enabling a positive work environment for all associates.

• Count drawers, manage deposits, and finalize end-of-day reports.
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with guests and team members.
• Support training and onboarding of new team members.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment built on trust and respect.
• Step into any station as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
