Job summary

McDonald’s franchisee-operated restaurant in Flower Mound, TX seeks a Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced team and deliver great guest experiences. You’ll supervise shifts, coach crew, ensure quality, safety, and cleanliness, and help meet daily targets.

Ideal candidates have prior leadership in restaurant/retail, flexible schedules, and a passion for teamwork. You must be 18 or older to manage in our restaurants.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts weekly to ensure fast, accurate, friendly service for every visit.
• Provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to ensure quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Plan each shift, monitor performance, and communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them to run a great shift.
• Meet targets during shifts and help departments meet their goals.

Responsibilities

Managers lead shifts every week, making sure customers get a fast, accurate, friendly experience every visit. A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to ensure great quality, service and cleanliness to customers.

Shift Managers perform a variety of tasks, which may include planning for each shift, monitoring performance during the shift, taking action to ensure the team is meeting McDonald’s standards, monitoring safety, security, and profitability, and communicating with the next Shift Manager to help prepare him or her to run a great shift, too. Shift Managers may also be responsible for meeting targets during their shifts and for helping their assigned departments meet their goals.
