Job summary

Jimmy John's of Belvedere Square in Baltimore, MD is seeking an energetic Shift Manager to join our fast-paced sandwich team. Lead a crew, ensure speedy and friendly service, and take ownership of daily shift operations to keep things running smoothly.

You will motivate staff, monitor food prep and assembly for quality, handle opening/closing duties, and ensure cash handling accuracy while maintaining high sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory or shift lead experience in food service or quick-service restaurant (QSR) preferred.
• Strong leadership and team communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Basic cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) system experience.
• Food safety certification (ServSafe) a plus or willingness to obtain.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Manage inventory, track product levels, and communicate supply needs to management.
