Job summary

TXM INC is seeking a Shift Maintenance Manager in McCordsville, IN to lead a busy maintenance team at a distribution site. You will oversee preventative, reactive and planned maintenance on automated storage and storage systems, coaching technicians to meet performance goals and KPIs.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on maintenance experience, strong leadership, RCA knowledge and excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage a large team and contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience leading Maintenance Technicians or a maintenance team
• Experience performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and understanding RCA methodologies
• Strong troubleshooting knowledge with a process-oriented mindset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Maintenance Technicians; coach, develop and support progression
• Involvement in recruitment and onboarding of new Technicians
• Create and distribute PMs on the CMMS aligned to KPIs
• Complete KPI reporting to drive performance and inform decisions

As a Shift Maintenance Manager, you will lead the team to ensure that the fast-paced distribution facility is always running at full capacity, carrying out preventative, reactive and planned maintenance on the site’s machinery.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Maintenance Technician’s. Coaching, developing and supporting Technicians to enable their progression, along with supporting the site in meeting performance goals.
• Involvement in the recruitment and onboarding process of new Maintenance Technician’s alongside other members of the leadership team.
• Create and distribute PMs in line with the business KPI’s on a CMMS system.
• Complete KPI reporting to ultimately drive performance and decision making.
• Review, prioritize and plan workloads within your team.
• Carrying out Preventative, Reactive and Planned Maintenance tasks across the site, as well as contributing to Continuous Improvement tasks.
• Performing Electrical and Mechanical maintenance on Automated Storage Retrieval Systems, and Storage and picking systems.
• Providing exceptional maintenance support to the on-site customer’s installed systems.

Your Experience:

• 3+ years’ experience in a Maintenance Team Lead or Supervisor role. With prior experience working hands on as a Maintenance Technician.
• Understanding of maintenance KPI’s such as MTTF, MTTR, PM completion.
• Experienced performing Root Cause Analysis and understands RCA methodologies.
• Strong troubleshooting knowledge with a process orientated mentality.
• Ability to manage, mentor and motivate a large team of skilled maintenance professionals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Eligibility to work in the USA.
