Everlast Roofing, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator in Ohio to join our manufacturing team. The role involves setting up and running production machinery, monitoring operations for quality and efficiency, and adjusting settings to meet specifications.

You will inspect finished products, document production data, and strictly follow safety protocols. The position requires physical stamina, strong teamwork, and willingness to train new operators in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machines according to specifications and instructions.

• Identify and report defects or issues with machinery or products.
• Perform daily routine quality checks.
• Report machine malfunctions to the supervisor.

• Ensure safety devices and guards are in place and functioning.
• Participate in safety training sessions and contribute to safety culture.
• Maintain accurate records of production quantities.
• Communicate production issues to supervisors and management.
• Wear PPE and follow safety instructions.
• Assist in training new machine operators.

• Assist with bi-annual plant inventories.
• Keep equipment clean and maintained.

Overview:

A Machine Operator will have experience operating and maintaining machinery, a strong understanding of production processes, and a commitment to safety and quality. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machines to ensure efficient and accurate production of products.

Schedule/Compensation:

Day Shift:

Monday-Wednesday (6am-3:30 pm)

Thursday & Friday (6 am-3pm)

OR

Night Shift:

Monday-Wednesday (3:30 pm-completion)

Thursday & Friday (3 pm- completion)

Machine Operator Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate machines according to specifications and instructions.

Machine Operator Qualifications:

• Knowledge of machine operation and maintenance procedures.

• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy (25lbs +) materials.
