Job summary

Mars, Incorporated is seeking a Production Assistant to work within a shift team and take ownership of assigned machines and processes. You will perform start-up, monitoring, maintenance, basic changeovers, inspections, and operate ancillary equipment and computer programs.

The role emphasizes teamwork and reliability, with a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and timely handovers. A high school diploma and fluent English are required; FMCG/factory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent English verbal and written skills.
• Experience in FMCG / factory operations preferred; mechanical training or fault-finding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Part of a shift team of up to 15 associates contribute to achievement of targets.
• Accountable for the performance of several machines, processes, or pieces of equipment.
• Escalate issues as appropriate, give full and accurate verbal and written handover
• Repair mechanical breakdowns using trained knowledge and experience.
