Job summary

Firehouse Subs in Provo is hiring shift leads and day positions. Both full-time and part-time roles are available, with starting pay from $10.00 to $10.50 per hour and free meals while you work as a Shift Lead.

You will help ensure health and safety compliance, train and supervise staff, assist the General Manager, and represent the brand with customers. The job requires standing up to 13 hours and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure restaurant compliance with health, hour and wage regulations and safety standards.
• Enforce Firehouse Subs policies and procedures.
• Maintain profitability by managing food cost, labor, and sales growth on shifts.
• Provide leadership to maintain guest service, quality, and cleanliness.
• Assist GM with operation plans and company initiatives.
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, training, and disciplining staff.
• Ensure required programs, reports and legal documents are completed on schedule.
• Engage in Public Safety Foundation initiatives.
• Represent Firehouse Subs professionally with customers and the community.
• Communicate issues to GM/Owner promptly.
• Able to stand for up to 13 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Other duties as assigned by GM/Owner.

REPORTS TO: General Manager

Come join a great company serving the best subs in QSR, all while making good money and having fun! We are currently looking for both Full and Part Time Shift Leads to join our Firehouse Subs in Provo, along with good pay we offer FREE meals while working as Shift Lead.

• Ensure the restaurant is in full compliance to all local, state and federal regulations to include health regulations, hour and wage regulations, age restrictions, fair employment practices, ADA and any other appropriate regulations required for the legal operation of the business.
• Ensure knowledge, adherence and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs® Policies and Procedures.
• Ensures the profitability of the business by operation shifts within established guidelines and requirements for food cost, labor, controllables, utilities and sales growth.
• Providing leadership to the restaurant team to consistently meet standards of superior guest service, quality and cleanliness while embracing the Firehouse Subs® "culture" and mission and vision statements.
• Assists the GM in coordinating and implementing current operations game plans and company initiatives in a profitable and timely manner.
• Participates in interviewing, hiring, training and disciplining employees under the guidance of the GM.
• Ensure all required programs, reports and legal documents are accurate, complete and accomplished on schedule.
• Actively participates in all Public Safety Foundation initiatives.
• Represents Firehouse Subs® in a professional, positive manner at all times.
• Communicates effectively to the GM/Owner any and all issues that may impact our business.
• Able to work on their feet for up to 13 hours at a time.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Any other duties assigned by GM/Owner.

Compensation: $10.00 to $10.50 per hour to start
