Job Summary

Each day at Taziki’s is different and exciting! You might work an opening or closing shift. In the morning, you'll help prepare the store for lunch, assist with catering orders, ensure food safety, and connect with the community. During the afternoon, you'll manage shift change, support the line, and prepare for dinner service. In the evening, you'll handle online orders, serve guests, and prep for the next day.

Responsibilities:

• Serving guests and building connections
• Opening & closing tasks
• Responsibility for the restaurant in a manager's absence
• Setting shift tone and providing clear directions
• Mastering menu and product knowledge
• Supporting stations including kitchen
• Food prep and side work
• Cash handling and payment procedures
• Maintaining health standards
• Following alcohol handling policies
• Proper food handling and storage
• Maintaining hygiene and appearance standards

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Preferred prior food service experience
• Leadership, guest service, communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Follow instructions and policies
• Energetic, eager to learn, loves fresh food
• Flexible schedule
• Dependable and trustworthy
• Obtain Food Manager’s certification shortly after starting

• Obtain a Food Manager’s certification shortly after employment

Working Conditions & Hours:

A typical day may include:

• Morning shift: 7am - 4pm
• Evening shift: 4pm - 10pm
• Weekends and holidays as applicable

Hours vary by store. Work environment includes kitchen equipment like grills, ovens, slicers, mixers, and food processors.

Physical Requirements:

• Walking/standing for extended periods
• Reaching, bending, lifting up to 30 pounds
• Wiping, twisting, cooking
