As a Shift Leader With Skyline, You Will

  1. Ensure a safe and secure environment is maintained by following Skyline policy and procedures.
  2. Train, monitor, and reinforce food safety procedures to Team Members. Ensure all company food safety procedures are followed. Comply with all health/sanitation regulations.
  3. Lead and demonstrate Skyline Time service and ensure all employees provide this level of hospitality.
  4. Supervise Team Members and prepare food to ensure quality products are served to our guests. Follow up with Team Members regarding food preparation and company procedures to minimize food costs.
  5. Monitor labor usage against sales and act when necessary.
  6. Execute, train, and monitor proper cash control procedures.
  7. Ensure proper training for Team Members through established training systems. Provide ongoing coaching to Team Members.
  8. Perform all functions of a production employee when needed.
  9. Perform other job-related duties as assigned or required.

Work Requirements & Physical Demands

  1. Able to work a variety of schedules in accordance with business needs and scheduling requirements.
  2. May be required to transfer from one location to another as needed.
  3. Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and stooping.
  4. Must be able to lift up to 50 lb. cases, lugs, bus tubs, trash cans, and similar items.
  5. Ability to safely use kitchen equipment.
  6. Basic math and computer skills.
  7. Professional appearance and demeanor.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
  2. Must be at least 18 years old.
  3. 1+ years of restaurant or supervisory experience preferred.
  4. Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance required.
