Job Role

Reporting to the Restaurant General Manager (RGM), the Shift Leader manages shifts independently, solving problems, leading the team, and ensuring smooth operations. The pay rate is $15.00-$18.00 per hour.

Responsibilities And Accountability

Ensure consistent customer satisfaction:

  • Execute responsibilities related to people, customer service, and operations
  • Ensure team members complete their assigned tasks
  • Maintain cleanliness and appearance standards
  • Prioritize customer needs
  • Ensure food safety, quality, and order accuracy
  • Resolve customer complaints promptly
  • Greet customers warmly and politely
  • Work with management and team to serve customers efficiently
  • Collaborate and assist team members as needed
  • Maintain a positive attitude

Attendance

  • Report on time, in uniform, and prepared
  • Notify management of absences appropriately
  • Use time-keeping systems accurately

Initiative And Energy

  • Take proactive actions, go beyond requirements, and stay active

Developing People

  • Provide feedback on team performance
  • Offer ongoing coaching and recognition
  • Participate in team training
  • Handle conflicts constructively

Act Like an Owner

  • Assist with profit and loss management, inventory, and labor control
  • Oversee product preparation and safety standards
  • Support facility maintenance and safety compliance

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Pass a background check
  • Reliable transportation
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to stock, clean, lift up to 50 lbs., and stand/walk for most of the shift
